Rules of the Club

Pool Hours: 8 am – 10 pm Dates of Operation: May 18 – September 8
All Oak Creek facilities are for their members and their accompanying guests only. To access the enclosed pool area during lifeguarded hours, members must have in their possession their pool tag. To access the enclosed pool area during swim at your own risk hours, members must have their key and their pool tag. Keys and pool tags may not be shared outside the members household membership.
LIFEGUARDED HOURS:
Sunday through Thursday 1pm – 6pm
Friday and Saturday 1pm - 7pm
• All members regardless of age may use the pool during these hours.
• Children must be at least 11 years old and able to swim across the pool in order to be at the pool unsupervised.
SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK HOURS:
Sunday through Thursday 8am-1pm; 6pm-10pm
Friday and Saturday 8am-1pm; 7pm-10pm
• You must be at least 18 years old in order to use the pool unsupervised during these hours. ID may be requested as proof. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by parent or responsible adult at least 21 years old.
• A lifeguard is not on duty during these hours; however, all rules are in effect.
• THE GATE IS TO REMAIN LOCKED AND CLOSED DURING UNLIFEGUARDED HOURS.
• All members using the pool during swim at your own risk hours must unlock and lock the gate for themselves. No member/guest may unlock gate for another person during swim at your own risk hours.
• Please turn off all lights and lock all locks when last to leave after lifeguarded hours.
GENERAL RULES:
• During lifeguarded hours, the lifeguard has full authority to enforce the rules.
• The presence of a lifeguard does not replace the presence of adult supervision. Parents must exercise due caution in allowing children to use the pool.
• Lifeguard stand is off limits to all but the lifeguards.
• Do not initiate conversations with the lifeguard(s) while he or she is on the lifeguard stand unless you have an emergency.
• Responsible use of alcohol is required.
• No Smoking or vaping inside pool area. Please go to the street. Dispose of trash properly.
• Be courteous to others while playing music.
• Pool noodles are for floating, not hitting.
• NO riding on shoulders.
• No pets inside the fenced pool area.
• Only swimwear may be worn in the pool. No jeans or cutoffs.
• NO RUNNING ON POOL DECK.
• Admission to the pool may be refused to anyone with an infectious disease, open sores or rashes.
• NO GLASS ALLOWED.
• No eating within 10 feet of the pool. Members are responsible for the cleanliness of their area. When departing, members and their guests must clean up their area throwing away all trash and replacing all chairs in their proper positions.
• No firearms allowed on the property unless securely locked inside a vehicle.
POOL TAGS AND KEYS:
• Pool tags will be issued for household members for ages 11+. This is your proof of membership.
• Pool tags must be in each member’s possession when using the pool. If not, you will be asked to retrieve it to show proof of membership.
• One (1) key is issued per membership after receipt of dues. Keys are for adults only during Swim At Your Own Risk hours. DO NOT GIVE ANY CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YOUR KEY, AS THEY DO NOT NEED A KEY TO ACCESS THE POOL DURING LIFEGUARDED HOURS.
KITCHEN RULES:
• Use of kitchen is a privilege. Please do your part to keep the kitchen, including the refrigerator, clean. Wash and return all club supplied items.
• Store only your snacks for the day in the refrigerator labeled with your name. Items left overnight will be discarded.
• No alcohol of any kind may be kept in the refrigerator overnight.
• Neglect of the kitchen will result in the kitchen being locked and unavailable to all members.
CHILDREN:
• Non-toilet trained children must wear swim diapers.
• Any child wearing a flotation device needs constant parental supervision.
BABY POOL:
• The baby pool is for the use of children 5 years and under.
• THE BABY POOL IS NOT LIFEGUARDED.
BABYSITTERS:
• A babysitter must be 18 yrs. or older to act as a guardian at the pool.
• If a babysitter is not being responsible for their children, they will be warned. If the warning is ignored, the babysitter will be asked to leave with their children and the member will be notified.
GUESTS:
• Oak Creek Estates residents are NOT eligible to be guests.
• EACH HOUSEHOLD MAY BRING UP TO 6 GUESTS PER VISIT.More than 6 guests is considered a party and requires prior approval. If approval has not been given, you and your party will be asked to leave. See Party Rules.
• Each individual guest is limited to a maximum of 10 total visits per year no matter the member who brings them.
• Children members ages 11-17, at the pool without an adult during lifeguarded hours, are limited to TWO (2) guests per visit.
ADULT SWIM:
• During lifeguarded hours, 45 minutes after the hour is designated adult swim/lifeguard break. Members and guests 18 and older may use the pool during this time. Parents may take children 3 and under into the pool and stay with them.
• Children MUST stay at least 1 foot from the edge of the pool (behind the concrete coping) and off the diving board during adult swim. No sitting on the edge of the pool, feet in the water or sitting on the steps entering the pool during adult swim.
DIVING BOARD/DEEP END:
• One person on the board at a time.
• No hanging from the board.
• Dive/jump off the end of the board only. One bounce on end of board.
• No arm floats or rings may be used on the diving board.
• Board may be closed to play games in the deep end. To close the board, place a chair on the board. Limit of 10 people playing in the deep end.
• Open diving board time and games in the deep end must be shared.
• No hanging or sitting on the rope dividing deep end from swim area.
BASKETBALL HOOPS:
• Goals are located on the 3 foot side and the 5 foot end. Goal located in the 3 foot area are reserved for smaller children and the goal in the 5 foot area for taller children and adults.
• No shooting from the pool deck.
• Basketballs need to remain in the pool.
• No children shooting baskets from the deck during adult swim.
• No slam dunking.
• No launching the ball across the pool.
• The lifeguard has authority to close the basketball goals due to crowds, inappropriate play, or safety reasons.
PLAY AREA:
• During adult swim please use designated play areas, not the pool deck.
• Playground and grassy areas on the property are appropriate play areas.
• Tennis courts are for TENNIS ONLY, not a play area.
Violation of any of these rules may result in the member expulsion from the pool, and their membership reviewed for possible termination. Termination of a membership due to a violation of pool rules is subject to the Oak Creek Estates Swim and Tennis Club, Inc. Board of Directors. If a membership is terminated, the membership fee is not refundable.
Pool rules may be changed, amended or modified by the Oak Creek Estates Swim and Tennis Club, Inc. as needed. Any Oak Creek Estates Swim and Tennis Club, Inc. Board Member, lifeguard, or pool management company employee has the authority to evict anyone who violates Oak Creek Estates Swim and Tennis Club, Inc. pool rules.

1. The tennis courts are for the exclusive use of the Oak Creek Swim & Tennis Club members and their guests. No outside guests may use the courts unless they are accompanied by a member.
2. Courts may be reserved by Oak Creek members through our scheduling program at https://playtennis.usta.com/oakcreekestatesswimtennisclub/Booking/ for social matches and individual leagues (T2, Play Your Court, etc.) 30 days in advance.
3. Team play (ALTA, USTA) match schedules and practice times should be sent to the club’s tennis chair for input in the scheduling program as early as known and will be booked for the entire season. Any league matches played outside of the posted schedule (due to inclement weather, etc.) should be booked at https://oakcreekcourttime.skedda.com/booking by the team captain or individual Oak Creek team member making sure court time is available prior confirming with other team.
4. The use of the courts shall be available on a first come basis when not reserved in advance, limiting play to one hour when others are waiting and ceding time to those that have reservations.
5. A maximum of four persons per court at any one time. Only exception will be during instructional play.
6. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
7. Tennis shoes or proper shoes must be worn at all times on the tennis courts.
8. Smoking is prohibited in the tennis court areas.
9. No food, chewing gum or breakable glass containers are permitted on the tennis courts.
10. No playing equipment such as skates, skateboards, rollerblades, toys, bicycles, etc., are permitted on the tennis courts.
11. No pets are permitted on the tennis courts.
12. Place all trash in the receptacles provided or take it with you.
13. The tennis courts are available from 8:00a.m. until dark.
14. Keep the gates closed at all times and locked when not in use. The use of the tennis courts are at your own risk.
15. The Club is not responsible for the loss or damage to any personal property used or left on the tennis courts.
16. Users must comply with any and all rules and regulations relating to the use of the tennis courts.

Only 1 party will be permitted at one time with a 2 hour limit.
A party consists of 6 or more guests that are not members of the Club. The maximum number of party guests is 25 people. This includes swimmers and non-swimmers.
Reserve a Party Pavilion at a cost of $30 by paying via cash or check made out to Oak Creek Estates Swim & Tennis Club.
An adult MUST be on the pool deck at all times that there are children from the party inside the pool area. That adult must help manage partygoers, ensure safety and give directions where needed.
ONCE YOUR PARTY IS APPROVED AND SCHEDULED...
Contact Swim Atlanta to request a party lifeguard at www.atlanta-pmg.com. Click the three bars on the top right of the home page inside the yellow circle, click “Services”, click “Pool Parties.”
Feel free to decorate the pavilion.
Take a trash can from the pool deck to the pavilion to use for trash.
When finished, please tie up trash and take bag to garbage corral and place in garbage bin (outside pool gates in grassy area where large trash bins are held behind fence).
Return trash can to pool deck with new garbage bag inside.
Please clean up any other trash and wipe down tables.
Please note – Adult Swim will be called if your party is being held during regular lifeguard hours.
All attendees that are not members, must leave at the end of the 2 hour party.
